I had the privilege of working at one of the Investigator Meetings of DIAN-TU, organised by Washington University in St. Louis. The day was filled with presentations from various stakeholders, each highlighting different aspects of the pharmaceutical trial aimed at combating Dominantly Inherited Alzheimer’s Disease. The talks were addressed to researchers, other stakeholders and the families of patients participating in the trial.

I have experience interpreting simultaneously between English and Italian during Skype calls between Fondazione Cetacea onlus and the other European partners of the EU marine conservation project Interreg SOUNDSCAPE. The project aims to monitor the soundscapes in the northern Adriatic Sea and their impact on marine biological resources. 

The calls revolved around the results of the underwater noise assessment carried out by tools set up by international teams.

I have had the privilege of taking part in several days of simultaneous interpreting training sessions at the EU Commission, Parliament and Council, thanks to their partnership with the University of Bologna.

During my studies at the University of Bologna, I had the chance to train my simultaneous interpreting skills at two conferences: 

• "Deutschland und Italien in Europa" held by the German Consul General of the Federal Republic of Germany in Milan, Claus Robert Krumrei (German into Italian)

•   "Voice Coaching and Stress Management" by Prof. Corinne Imhauser (English into Italian).

​​I worked at the 15th edition of the Sedicicorto International Film Festival as part of an internship, interpreting the words of several incredibly talented directors on a theatre stage and during panels, as well as at the award ceremony. This was held in Italian and I used Bidule.

​At another internship, I developed my simultaneous interpreting skills, using  whispered interpreting to communicate the content of the conference marking the conclusion of the EU project EDUCATE, aiming to educate and rehabilitate inmates and reintegrate them into society. The conference was held mainly in Italian, and I was the English interpreter for some of the Portuguese, Greek and Romanian partners. 

Throughout my studies, I had the pleasure of working for the Tourist Information Office of my hometown, Cesena. I also had the chance to interpret consecutively at several guided tours of its most famous sights, particularly the Malatestian Library.
